Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Arborist Practice Test ("we", "us") collects, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can. We do not sell personal information and we do not use advertising cookies.

What we collect

• Purchase details. When you buy, our payment partner (Waffo.com Limited) shares your email address, name, country, the plan, the amount and a transaction reference with us. We never receive your full card number.
• Your access link. We store a scrambled (hashed) version of your private access link, which plan it unlocks, and when it was last used.
• First visit. On your first visit we record the page you landed on, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source) and your approximate country. This tells us which pages and channels help people, and it is attached to your order if you buy.
• Usage counts. We count how many practice questions are answered and how many quick tests are started and finished each day, as anonymous daily totals. Nothing in these counts identifies you or your device.
• Mock exam results. If you use an access link, we store your mock exam scores so we can show your progress and handle pass-guarantee requests.
• AI tutor questions. The text you send to the AI tutor and its reply, to provide the answer, enforce fair-use limits and improve quality.
• Problem reports and messages you send us, including any email address you give.
• Technical logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site.

What stays on your device

Your study progress (answers, missed questions, flashcard history) is saved in your own browser's local storage. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it. We use local storage, not cookies, for this and for the first-visit record above.

How we use information

• to deliver what you bought and to help you if you lose your access link;
• to process refunds and the pass guarantee;
• to prevent fraud and abuse, such as shared access links;
• to understand which pages and channels bring visitors and customers, and to improve our questions.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, database and AI processing), Waffo.com Limited (payments, as merchant of record), and an email provider if we email you. They may only use the information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• First-visit records not linked to an order: up to 13 months.
• AI tutor conversations: up to 90 days.
• Problem reports and messages: until resolved, then up to 12 months.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we must keep for legal reasons. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights. Email hello@arboristpracticetest.com (or use our contact form) and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The Service is meant for adults preparing for a professional exam and is not directed to children under 16.

International processing

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
