Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Arborist Practice Test (the "Service"), operated by Arborist Practice Test ("we", "us"). By using the Service or buying access, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who we are

1. What the Service is

Arborist Practice Test provides original practice questions, explanations, mock exams, flashcards and related study tools to help people prepare for the ISA Certified Arborist exam. We are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), and our questions are not actual exam questions. ISA Certified Arborist® is a registered trademark of ISA.

2. Purchases and access

• Plans are sold for a single payment (Question Bank $49, Complete Prep $149, in US dollars) and include 12 months of access from the date of purchase. Nothing renews automatically.
• After payment you receive a private access link. It is for your personal use only. Do not share or resell it. We may suspend an access link that shows signs of sharing, such as heavy use from many devices or locations at once.
• Purchases are sold and processed by Waffo.com Limited, our online reseller and merchant of record, which also handles payments, invoices, applicable sales tax or VAT, and order-related inquiries and refunds together with us. We never receive your full card number. Taxes may apply depending on where you live.
• Refunds, including our pass guarantee, are covered by our Refund Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, download in bulk, publish or redistribute our questions, explanations or other content;
• use bots or automated tools to access the Service, or try to get around access controls or usage limits;
• use the AI tutor to generate content unrelated to studying, or to submit unlawful, abusive or harmful material;
• interfere with the Service or other users.

4. Our content

The questions, explanations, text, design and software of the Service belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study. Sources we cite belong to their respective owners; we link to them so you can read the originals.

5. Accuracy and safety

We work hard to make every question accurate and we cite our sources, but educational material can contain mistakes and standards change. The Service is a study aid, not professional, legal or safety advice. Always follow the current ANSI standards, applicable law (such as OSHA rules), your employer's procedures and your training when doing tree work. If you find an error, please report it.

6. AI tutor

The AI tutor in Complete Prep generates answers automatically with Llama 4 Scout 17B Instruct by Meta, run on Cloudflare Workers AI. For each question it is given our reviewed answer, explanation and sources, but it can still be wrong. Treat its answers as a study aid and check the cited sources.

• Limits: up to 25 AI questions per access link per day, plus a daily cap for the whole site.
• What it is for: questions about our practice questions, arboriculture and the exam. Do not send personal data, unlawful, sexual, hateful or harassing content, or attempts to make it produce such content. It declines off-topic requests.
• Records and review: we keep AI tutor messages and replies for up to 90 days to enforce limits, investigate reports and improve quality (see our Privacy Policy). We may switch off the AI tutor for an access link that breaks these rules.
• Reporting: if an AI answer is wrong, unsafe or inappropriate, email hello@arboristpracticetest.com (or use our contact form) with the question it was about.

7. No guarantee of exam results

Passing the exam depends on you. Apart from the pass guarantee described in our Refund Policy, we make no promise about exam results.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and may add, change or remove features and questions over time. If we stop offering the Service before your access period ends, we will refund the unused portion of your purchase.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Ending access

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. If we end access without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused portion of your purchase.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date shows the latest version. Changes do not affect purchases already made, except where required by law.
